4/10/2024-REXASI-PRO at Coffeetech by Confindustria Genova and DIH Liguria

On 4 October 2024 in Genoa, at the Sala Consiglio of Confindustria Genova, via San Vincenzo 2, from 8 to 9 a.m., for CoffeeTech, Vanessa Orani, researcher at AITEK, will present the REXASI-PRO project: an example of trustworthy AI.

In the Horizon Europe REXASI-PRO project (https://rexasi-pro.spindoxlabs.com/#) the main objective is to create a working framework in which AI-based systems are safe, ethical and reliable for end users, in a word ‘Trustworthy’. This involves the integration of techniques to ensure the safety of people and computer systems, methodologies to make AI understandable to humans, and ethical considerations to protect end users. The process is similar to ‘W-shaped learning assurance’, where the verification and validation phase plays a key role in testing the final AI system.

Furthermore, continuous monitoring and compliance with standards and regulations ensure that this type of framework provides reliable AI solutions over time. The framework emphasises transparency, fairness and accountability, ensuring that AI systems in REXASI-PRO are not only effective, but also aligned with social values and ethical standards.
