Able With Tech Tools is an Erasmus + KA2 project led by Düzce University in Turkey and partnered by Scuola di Robotica.
The project is co-financed by the European Commission in the Erasmus Plus Programme (ERASMUS+ PROGRAMME, STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS (KEY ACTION 2), AGREEMENT NUMBER 2019-1-TR01-KA203-074720). At the heart of this project, “students with autism spectrum disorders” may suffer from communication and social interaction difficulties, repetitive behavior, language development delay, problems with eye contact, reasoning, perception differentiation and orientation that prevent them from performing their academic tasks in the same way as other students. Technologies specifically produced to facilitate students’ social and communication challenges with ASD play an important role in reducing barriers to learning. Acquiring knowledge on how to use these assistive technologies for students with ASD will provide an opportunity to improve both teaching and technological skills. This will also enable them to facilitate these students’ learning processes.
