ABLE WITH TECH TOOLS

Able With Tech Tools is an Erasmus + KA2 project led by Düzce University in Turkey and of which Scuola di Robotica is a partner. The project is co-funded by the European Commission, the Erasmus Plus Program (ERASMUS+ PROGRAMME, STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS (KEY ACTION 2), AGREEMENT NUMBER 2019-1-TR01-KA203-074720). At the heart of this project, “students with autism spectrum disorders” may suffer from difficulties with communication and social interaction, repetitive behaviors, delayed language development, problems with eye contact, reasoning, differentiation of perceptions, and orientation that prevent them from performing their academic tasks in the same way as other students. Technologies produced specifically to facilitate the social and communication challenges of students with ASD play an important role in reducing barriers to learning. Acquiring knowledge about how to use these assistive technologies for students with ASD will provide opportunities to improve both teaching and technology skills. It will also allow them to facilitate the learning processes of these students.
