Genoa Rolli Days October 2023 – Leafing through History!

From 13th to 15th October 2023 the Rolli Days celebrate Genoa as the Italian Book Capital 2023: Pages unfurled! or, in a sailors’ idiom “In full sails (pages)!”

Many of the UNESCO World Heritage Rolli Palaces and precious suburban villas open to the public, with a rich programme of guided tours and events.
The Rolli Days will intersect with Genoa Book Capital 2023, presenting precious volumes such as the Book of Hours known as Offiziolo Durazzo and some fundamental texts to tell the story of the Palaces and their inestimable artistic and cultural value, displayed in precious antique editions.

Scuola di Robotica has new premises, located in a beautiful building with 17th century frescoes and 18th century stuccoes. We are happy to be your guide to visit the rooms; the visits will take place on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 October, from 3 to 5 p.m. For the visits on Saturday 14 October, from 3 to 5 p.m., your guide will be Dr. Serena Bertolucci, director of the Fondazione Palazzo Ducale and art historian.

And, since Genoa is the Capital of the Book 2023 and Scuola di Robotica has won a project of Educare alla Lettura, a call from the Centro per il Libro e la Lettura (CEPELL) at the same time as the visits for adults and children, on Saturday 14 October and Sunday 15 October, from 3 to 5 p.m., we will hold free robotics and coding workshops for storytelling dedicated to children and babies, boys and girls aged 8 to 12.
