School of Robotics partners in a new Erasmus plus project

The new Erasmus plus project in which School of Robotics is a Partner is a KA2, Cooperation Partnership and is called EITIC-EU: Promoting girls in STEAM careers through female role models.

The Coordinator is the Madrid-based Spanish NGO Ciber Voluntarios. In addition to Scuola di Robotica, Partners are Greenlight for girls from Belgium, the non-profit Eduquest in Greece, the Colegiul Tehnic Edmond Nicolau Focsani in Romania, and the EPAL YMITTOU Institute in Greece

The objectives of EITIC are:

To raise awareness and train students aged 10-16 in European schools, especially girls, in inspiring and innovative experiences led by women. Contribute to bridging the digital gender gap.
Facilitate access to university studies for girls aged 10-16, inspiring them to pursue their dreams and ideas.
Trying to eliminate the prejudice that ‘STEAM is not for girls’ with dissemination activities that unite girls and boys and
prejudices.

The Kick-off of the project will be held in Madrid in December 2024.
